Green & White Teas
Black, Green and White teas are all blended from the leaves of the Camelia Sinensis plant. The difference between them comes from the first stage of preparation that the leaves undergo. The leaves for Black tea are fully oxidised (or fermented) whereas Green and White tea leaves are lightly steamed or heated. This preserves the colour of the leaf and gives the final drink a paler colour.
