Watermelon Mint Tea Recipe by New English Teas

  

Ingredients:

  • 4 cups water
  • 2 tbsp dried rose petals (culinary grade)
  • 2 black teabags or 2 tbsp loose black tea
  • 1-2 tbsp honey or sugar (optional, adjust to taste)
  • Lemon slices (optional)
  • Fresh rose petals for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Bring four cups of water to the boil in a medium saucepan.
  2. Remove from the heat when boiling and add the black tea (or teabags!).
  3. Add the dried rose petals to the tea.
  4. Cover the saucepan and let the tea steep for 5-7 minutes, allowing the flavours to meld beautifully.
  5. Strain the tea into a teapot or pitcher, removing the teabags and rose petals.
  6. Stir in honey or sugar, as desired, until dissolved.
  7. Pour into cups and garnish with fresh rose petals.
  8. Sip slowly and savour the aromatic blend of tea and roses.
