Earl Grey Tea Infused Lemonade

Ingredients

4 cups of water

4 Earl Grey teabags

1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (4-6 lemons)

1/2 cup of sugar

Ice cubes

Lemon slices and fresh mint for garnish

Method

1. Brew the tea by bring 4 cups of water to the boil in a saucepan, adding the teabags and steeping for 5-7 minutes.

2. Remove the teabags and allow the tea to cool to room temperature.

3. While the tea is cooling, juice the lemons to obtain about 1 cup of fresh lemon juice.

4. In a pitcher, combine the lemon juice and the sugar. Stir until dissolved.

5. Once the tea has cooled, combine it with the lemon and sugar mixture, stirring well.

6. Chill in the fridge for at least one hour, to enhance the flavour.

7. Pour over ice and garnish with a few slices of lemon and a few mint leaves.

 

Feel free to adjust the sweetness or tartness of the lemonade by adding more sugar or lemon juice according to your taste preferences. Cheers to springtime refreshment!
