1 cup quinoa, cooked and cooled

2 green tea bags

1 1/2 cups of hot water

1 cucumber, diced

1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped

1/4 cup avocado, diced

1/4 cup feta cheese, crumbled

2 tbsp olive oil

1 tbsp lemon juice

Salt and pepper for seasoning

Fresh basil leaves for garnish



Green Tea & Quinoa Salad Recipe by New English Teas


1. Steep the green tea in hot water for 3-5 minutes. Remove the teabags and let the tea cool down.

2. In a large bowl, combine the cooked quinoa, cucumber, cherry tomatoes, and red onion.

3. In a small bowl, whisk together the cooled green tea, olive oil, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.

4. Pour the dressing over the quinoa mixture and toss to combine.

5. Top the salad with crumbled feta cheese and garnish with fresh basil leaves.
